My Role
UI Designer with growing Product involvement, UI Developer.
Product vision and priorities were defined by managers and business analysts.
My responsibility was to turn requirements into efficient, understandable solutions and make sure the system worked in everyday operational reality.
I worked in tight collaboration with product owner, manager, business analyst, frontend and backend developers.
The Challenge
The system had complex operational workflows used by multiple departments. The challenge was designing a scalable interface while keeping the UI readable and efficient.
We dealt with:
- complex, multi-step operational processes
- users with very different responsibilities
- pressure to deliver fast
- evolving knowledge about real-life scenarios.
My Contribution
I helped the team move from “what should the system do” to “how people will actually use it”.
This meant:
- translating heavy business logic into structured flows
- reducing unnecessary steps
- identifying risks of user errors
- proposing simpler alternatives
- aligning solutions with technical constraints.
I frequently challenged early assumptions when they increased cognitive load or slowed down repetitive work.
Additionally, I contributed as a UI Developer, ensuring visual and interaction consistency across layouts and components, and maintaining pixel-perfect alignment with the design system.
